Description
A refreshing summer treat, this delicious peach cherry salsa combines sweet peaches and cherries with zesty lime and jalapeño for a perfect topping or dip.
Ingredients
2 garlic cloves
2 peaches
1 cup halved and pitted cherries
1 large handful cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeño pepper, chopped
1/2 small red onion, chopped
1 1/2 limes, juiced and zested
Salt, to taste
Instructions
1. Pit the cherries using a cherry pitter.
2. Dice the peaches into small pieces.
3. In a large bowl, combine cherries, peaches, cilantro, jalapeño, and red onion.
4. Add lime juice, lime zest, and salt. Mix well.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Great as a dip or topping for grilled meats.
Adjust spiciness by adding more or less jalapeño.
Consider adding honey or agave for sweetness.
