Description
A deliciously gooey, cheesy bread perfect as a side or snack.
Ingredients
1 loaf French bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
3. In a bowl, mix butter and garlic until evenly combined.
4. Add parsley, salt, and black pepper; stir well.
5. Spread garlic butter mixture over cut sides of bread.
6. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the bread halves.
7. Top with grated Parmesan.
8. Place bread on a baking sheet, cut side up.
9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
10. Broil for 1-2 minutes to lightly brown the cheese.
11. Let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
Watch closely while broiling to prevent burning.
Try adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
