Description
A simple and delicious meal made with layers of ravioli, meat sauce, and cheese cooked in a crockpot.
Ingredients
1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
1 lb ground beef
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
2. Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
3. Spray your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Spread a layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
4. Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by another layer of meat sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with sauce.
5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the last layer.
6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until ravioli is tender.
7. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added nutrition.
