Description

A delicious and easy-to-make casserole combining the flavors of cinnamon rolls and French toast.


Ingredients

2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing

4 large eggs

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup maple syrup


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Open cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Reserve icing.

3. Arrange cut cinnamon roll pieces evenly in the baking dish.

4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, heavy cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar until combined.

5. Pour custard mixture over cinnamon roll pieces. Drizzle with melted butter.

6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and set in the center.

7. Remove from oven and drizzle with maple syrup and reserved icing.

8. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Make ahead and refrigerate overnight before baking.

Add nuts or fruit for customization.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
